The fight of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manual Marquez was on November 13, 2011 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This was their third time to fight in against each other. The results of the fight have become very controversial because they were almost at par with each other.
Out of the three judges, 2 favored Pacquiao while the other judge called it a draw. Pacquiao was still the over-champion. Upon hearing this verdict, Marquez and his team went out from the arena disappointed and other Marquez fans were throwing drinks on the arena. The previous 2 fights of Pacquiao and Marquez were close ones as well. Pacquiao/ “Pacman” wanted another fight with Marquez after their second fight to prove that he was truly the winner.
Many audiences and spectators be they Filipino or Mexican still believe that Marquez should have been the winner of their recent fight or at least that the fight should have been a draw. A lot of people are firm to believe that Manny Pacquiao deserved to win the recent fight. He trained hard for it and he was also very focused during the fight. Pacman for most Pinoys did well during the fight and no matter what others say, majority of the Filipinos believe that he is still and will always be the “Peoples Champ”
